Well-managed public infrastructure is vital to the prosperity of communities. Given the range and scope of services provided, the Township of Uxbridge has a distinct responsibility to ensure that infrastructure is planned, built, and maintained in a sustainable way. While complying with legislative requirements, the Asset Management Plan helps set financial goals and maintain financial security by describing the actions required to manage the Township’s portfolio of assets in a way that supports established service levels and helps achieve target service levels, while managing risks and costs.
Through the 2025 Asset Management Plan an assessment of all current municipal assets is provided, including:
- Buildings
- Vehicles
- Machinery, equipment and furnishings
- Land Improvements
- Parks
- Sidewalks and pathways
- Stormwater infrastructure
- Bridges and culverts
- Roads and related infrastructure
The 2025 Asset Management Plan is an update to prior versions of the Township’s plan and complies with the additional criteria required under O. Reg. 588/17 by July 1, 2025.
