The Planning and Lands Office supports the responsible development and use of land within the Hamlet of Arviat. The Office works with residents, businesses, organizations, and developers on land-related matters, including land applications, development permits, and lease inquiries.
Please contact the Planning and Lands Office before submitting a land application or development permit application. The Office can also assist with questions related to municipal land leases.

The Community Plan sets the Hamlet’s long-term direction for growth and development. The Community Plan Map shows how land is designated and zoned across the community.
The Zoning By-law provides the rules for what types of development are allowed in each zone.
