The Township of Southwold has engaged Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. to complete a Development Charges Background Study and updated Development Charges By-law. The background study has been completed and the draft by-law prepared.
Council authorized the release of the Background Study at the August 10, 2026 Council meeting. This begins the process for public comment on the background study and proposed by-law.

The Public Meeting for the Draft Development Charges By-law will be held Monday, September 28, 2026.
