Trade Permits
The City of Brooks is an accredited agency for Gas, Plumbing, and Electrical disciplines. These permits are processed directly by the City, allowing applicants to submit all Safety Code permits in one place.
Previously, Gas, Plumbing, and Electrical permits were submitted through the Alberta Safety Codes Authority, while Building Permits were handled locally. With accreditation in all disciplines, the permit process is now streamlined into a single, consistent system for residents, contractors, and businesses.
Submit the completed form by email to development@brooks.ca or drop off between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at City Hall (201 - 1 Avenue West).
