Property Taxes

2026 Tax Installment Due Dates

Interim Tax Billing:  February 25th & April 28th

Final Tax Billing:  June 26th & September 25th

Property taxes in the Township of Uxbridge are issued twice per year: an interim bill and a final bill, each with two installment due dates.

These taxes are used to provide Township residents with a variety of services including road maintenance, snow removal, emergency services, parks, arenas, community centres, public transit, planning & development, and more.

Interim tax bills

The interim tax bills are mailed in January of each year with installment due dates in February and April. The interim bill is based on 50% of the previous year's annualized taxes and is shown as a reduction on the final bill.

If you are on the Township's monthly pre-authorized payment plan or if your taxes are paid by your mortgage company, then you will not receive an interim tax bill.

Final tax bills

Final tax bills for all properties are mailed in May, with installment due dates in June and September.

Tax bills are mailed to property owners and include details on due dates, payment options, and how to stay up to date. A late payment charge applies to all past due taxes at a rate of 1.25% each month. Failure to receive a tax notice does not waive any liability for payment of taxes or penalty interest charges.

Please ensure that the Township has your correct mailing address. Should you need to update your mailing address, kindly send an email including your tax roll number, municipal address, owner's name(s), new mailing address and effective date.

If you are responsible for paying your taxes directly and have not received a tax bill, please contact the Tax Department at 905-852-9181 ext. 211 or 216.

Mortgage and Trust companies

Mortgage and trust companies that pay property taxes will receive property tax information directly from the Township.
