Building Permit Fees

The fees associated with building permits are outlined in the Building Permit Fee Schedule within By-Law #24 - 36. It is important to note that all fees and charges must be paid before the building permit application is issued.

Development Charges

Development Charges (DC) are fees collected from new developments. Ontario municipalities implement these charges to recover certain costs related to both residential and non-residential growth. Developers contribute to the Town’s expenses for expanded municipal services, such as new water systems, road infrastructure, parks, trails, and fire facilities.
